NEW!! At the request of a MommyLinks user I have "colorized" the MommyLinks Calendar. The new 2005-2006 version has a different color text for each month, which I've found livens up the look of the calendar a bit. I have also made a black and white version for those without access to color printing.
I have also added some extra note pages and separated each month, so if you have items you'd like to insert between the months, it will be easier to do so. I usually print out 8-10 extra note pages to put at the back of my calendar to use as a garden journal, to list sizes or ideas for gifts, or for project planning.
Every year I print out the calendar and have it spiral bound (with durable plastic covers) at my local copy center for less than $5. I love having plenty of room for planning all our activities, household tasks, and meals. I've also started to use the"Notes" area of each page as a journalling space. With two young children (and a 3rd on the way) it's hard to find time to record all those precious moments, but my calendar is always out with a pen handy, problem solved!
Having trouble squeezing all your planning into those dinky squares on a wall calendar? Don't have the money to spend on a fancy daytimer? Print out the MommyLinks 16-Month 2005-2006 Calendar for free!
The MommyLinks Calendar was designed to be used in a 3-ring binder. It is a week at a glance calendar with plenty of room to record everything that's happening with your busy family, from soccer practice to what's for supper! It's a great addition to the Control Journal that FlyLady recommends. There are spaces for outside Activities, Household to-do lists, and Meal planning.

Extra Note Pages
To save paper, use the double sided printing feature on your printer, or print the odd pages first, then reload the paper, making sure the pages are in the right order, and then print the even pages.
I hope you find the MommyLinks Family Calendar as useful as I do.
